Car Tuition
Getting your drivers license is one of the most important decisions you will make. It is important that you receive excellent quality instruction and good value for your money.
Your progress during your driving lessons will be recorded in a driving lesson track record which will show your progress throughout your driving lessons. This will also help in between lessons when you are practising without the aid of your instructor. During your driving lessons you will receive regular, honest and constructive feedback.

1. THEORY TEST
Check out our links page for the theory test questions, then you will be given your learners license. You must hold this learners license for 6 months before you can sit the restricted test. Within this time you will learn all of the skills needed to pass the restricted test.
Learners license topics that will be covered include:
- Basic cockpit drills
- Stopping, parking by the kerb
- Starting and gear changing
- Intersections and give way rules
- Hill starts
- Parallel parking
- 3 point turns
- Reversing
- Hazard detection
- Lane changing
- On and off ramps with higher speeds and expressway driving
- Preparation for the driving test
2. RESTRICTED TEST
20 minute practical test, you must achieve a minimum of 80% to pass. After passing this test you will get a restricted license that entitles you to drive by yourself (no passengers unless they have held their full license for 2 years and are over the age of 20). You must hold this license for a minimum of 18 months before sitting the full license test unless you sit a Defensive Driving course, which will reduce this to 12 months.
3. FULL LICENCE TEST
Allow 1 hour for a practical on road test. We will prepare you for this test during your Defensive Driving Course.
4. ADVANCED DRIVING LESSONS (Optional)
As well as providing driving lessons for learners, we provide motorway tuition, advanced assessments, medical assessments, corporate assessments and refresher driving lessons for those who have passed their driving test but would like to improve their driving skills or confidence.
