You will need to complete a basic handling motorbike training course before you can sit your motorbike theory test. The basic handling motorbike course consists of four basic stages for you to complete on our motorbike or yours.
Our basic handling motorbike course instructors are highly trained from the UK, and are here to help you pass your basic handling course.
No riding experience?
We can provide extra motorbike training to help you pass your basic handling course if you have no motorbike riding experience.
Have you ridden before?
If you have ridden motorbikes before and you are confident your motorbike skills are up to standard, then you may not need extra training before you complete the basic handling motorbike course. However there are basic motorbike skills that you must complete.
What will the course involve?
The motorbike basic handling course consists of four basic exercise that you must complete:
- Basic turn and stop
- Figure of 8 and park
- Linking figures of 8
- Increased speed and emergency stop

Once you have completed your motorbike basic handling course successfully you will then be given a basic handling course certificate. You will then be able to sit your motorbike theory test.
We hold our motorbike basic handling skills courses in Tauranga, Rotorua and Taupo on a regular basis.
